The condition of this 50th anniversary Kermit is incredible for a watch that was released in 2003, a premier example of a collector's passion. The bezel insert is flawless, bevels crisp, meaty lugs (watch has never been polished) and even an intact original green Rolex hologram on the case back. What's special about this example versus others that were made years after is that it is a Y serial and has papers dated in 2003 which is the actual 50th anniversary year of the Submariner. It is the Mark I edition with the flat 4 on the bezel insert.

Case is made stainless steel with brush-finished lugs and high-polish finished sides. Mounted atop the case is a high polished finish stainless steel divers bezel, with a green "kermit" insert fitted on top of the bezel. The watch is paired with a satin finished stainless steel oyster bracelet (fits up to a 7.5 inch wrist) with a stainless steel satin foldover clasp.

Functions are shown on a black dial with luminous hands and hours markers. These functions include hours, minutes, seconds, and date. 

Service history is unknown, however, the watch passed through our in-house service center and passed the quality control tests which implies that it is running up to manufacturer's standards. The watch will undergo another set of quality control tests before being shipped. A full one year warranty and certificate of authenticity will be issued.
